More Apocalyptic Climate Change

While the world bakes to a crunchy brown, Cincinnati is freezing over. July 2009 is officially the Queen City's coldest July on record.

This makes us all the more determined to see a cap-and-trade bill passed before it gets any colder.

Where's my sweater?

i hereby vow to increase my carbon footprint to ensure that such a cool summer month shan't occur again. my refrigerator doors are open, every incandescent bulb in the house is lit up, and my silverado 4x4 V8 is idling out front, ready for a nice evening drive around price hill.

I can't complain about the cool weather because in my mind, any time I don't have to run the heat or the AC the weather is good. We had a perfect day today which somewhat makes up for the fact that I have to go to work tomorrow, but I wonder if Al Gore should pay a visit to the Pacific Northwest before the residents there die of heat stroke.
