Meanwhile, over at US News and World Report, John Leo is noting the massive spate of partisan coverage on such matters as Murtha, Schmidt, Iraq and "Bush lied!" He diagnoses the problem as the media's inordinate hatred for Dubya, which leads them to slant every angle against the President, no matter how factually inaccurate or blatantly biased the outcome.
SWNID concurs.

Leo's been one of my favorites for years. Unfortunately, he just announced last week that he'll no longer have a column in U.S. News (not until after I resubscribed, I might add.) From now on, I guess we'll have to pluck his articles from cyberspace. Just as well; it's cheaper.
The amazing thing is that there are things to dislike about the president that are real faults, but the party, whose name will never be mentioned, never sees those things as faults. Curious! Obviously it is more fun to tell lies.
