Talk about cliche writing. If there were a countermeasure for every measure, there would be no measures.
Why fight in Iraw if the enemy must insist on fighting back?
Why tax your own populace to fund your elitist initiatives? The people will simply counteract with tax avoidance.
Why protect your border or your nation's sovereignty?
Um, I don't think that SWNID intended this to be a counsel of despair. I think he thought it is a wry observation about life.
There are counter-measures for every measure, but we do take measures. You can complain about the counter-measures, or you can soldier ahead with a smile on your face.
