Terry Collins, director of the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction, admitted yesterday that releasing Fernando Lee North was a mistake.
Immediately after his statement, the exclamation "Duh!" was collectively uttered by all citizens of southwest Ohio.
Of course, corrections officials say that there will be changes because of this. We hope so, but history doesn't give us much basis for optimism.

There is a fairly strong rumor that would indicate that correctional officers, and yes, even prisoners, are doing there best to aid the laxity of the judicial system. Apparently, jail isn't treating North very well this time around. Boy, that's rough.
