Kagan: Bluebird of Happiness Appears in Iraq

Carnegie Endowment Associate and WaPo columnist Robert Kagan today notes what gentle readers already know: the surge is working, and fast.

We quote his delightful opening paragraph:

A front-page story in The Post last week suggested that the Bush administration has no backup plan in case the surge in Iraq doesn't work. I wonder if The Post and other newspapers have a backup plan in case it does.

We tip a grateful hat to the troops, under the wise leadership of General Petraeus, who are doing what the Angry Left deemed impossible.

The sad thing is, that the "supposed" paper for the troops, The Stars and Stripes, makes it to sound that the surge isn't working. Nice to see some people can actually see whats going on.

I once again apologize for my poor spelling and grammer, but I'm allowed to have a break!
