Introspection on Shark-Jumping

Early returns on our consideration as to whether 24 has jumped the shark remind us that one should attend to the log in one's own eye before removing the speck in Kiefer Sutherland's.

So we ask gentle readers to consider the following introspective question, for our edification, and post responses as comments:

When did this blog jump the shark?

No points for creativity will be awarded for further complaints on our magnificent obsession with Rudy Giuliani.

SWNID asks:
When did this blog jump the shark?

Rustypants replies:
"If you have to ask..."

Let me clear something up. Until recently SWNID knew practically every blogger who responded to this site. I (and I think a couple other folks) were simply curious as to who fiona might be, so I asked if he had any idea, and he said no. Curiosity alone sparked the question (Also, Fiona is a Scottish name and Scotland is quite near and dear to SWNID's heart, simply adding to the curiosity). Believe me--SWNID has never been and never will be insecure. The word is not in his vocabulary.

For the record, I didn't write the last post.

Someone please look up "insecurity" for me at dictionary.com.

The great thing about anonymity? You can rape and pillage with impunity.

SWNID jumped the shark when he pulled off the Jack Bauer-like feat (formerly known as herculean task) of posting approximately 17 times in 24 hours (this is an exageration, so all of you fiendish bloggers with a penchant for personal attacks feel no need to respond with the actual count). Such a heroic act left this reader gasping for breath: "Too... many... posts!" So, upon going to bed and waking up refreshed again today I feel more than capable of responding (insert snide remark by aforementioned bloggers about how I overestimate my abilities). So, dear SWNID, if you have ever jumped the shark it was surely in your ability to provide for the blogosphere the equivalent of an episode of 24. Prove me wrong SWNID, I want too believe there is more yet to come!

Did I really just say "too believe." Shameful. I apologize for my ridiculous lack of typing skills
