We are happy to announce that an interview with friend of SWNID Wayne Anderson, double bassist with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, will be aired on FM 91.7 WVXU's "Around Cincinnati" program at 7 p.m. EST on Sunday, February 25. His appearance, with other bassists from the CSO, is in anticipation of their performance of Gunther Schuller's Quartet for Basses at next weekend's CSO Chamber Players concert.
Wayne is a great musician, an amazing father, an exemplary Christian gentleman, an extraordinary humorist, and a fine friend. We urge all gentle readers to listen, as the interview will be great fun for all the reasons noted in the previous sentence.
